Inspiration Point is well worth a stop, since it provides the best views of the main amphitheater along three different viewpoint levels. Row after row of hoodoos stand in a valley below distant white cliffs, while multicolored angled walls drop away below the viewing area. The pine trees in the valley floor provide a good reference frame for the height of the hoodoos, which glow with reflected light in the mornings and evenings. Inspiration Point is on the very user friendly Rim Trail, which runs north to Sunset Point.
