Clearly, the falls themselves aren’t dry. The reason it’s called Dry Falls is because you can usually stay dry during your walk behind/underneath the falls. The river was raging when we were there, so we didn’t stay completely dry, but whatever. Walking behind a waterfall is always fun. You can see the falls from a roadside platform if you don’t have any time at all, but if you can spare a few more minutes, it’s a short and easy trail to walk down to the falls and back and you’ll get nice views. You can’t beat this area during the fall.
