What’s Nearby?: White Domes Loop, St. Thomas Ghost Town

This is a great trail – short and sweet, it packs a lot of scenery into 0.75 miles and the views on the way back are quite different, so you don’t even feel like you’re retracing your steps. And of course the reason for the trail – the Fire Wave itself – is a wonderful destination that would be well worth significantly more effort. Highly recommended as a stop if you’re in the Las Vegas area or driving through (as we often are on our way from San Diego to Utah).
