This was a very easy hike to some cool hoodoos; if you’re driving between Page, Arizona and Kanab, Utah, it would really be a shame not to stop here since the parking area is literally right off US 89. We did the hike during an extreme warm spell (I think it was 113º F when we went to dinner at 7pm), but the hike is so flat that it wasn’t a problem. Just follow the trail markers and/or hike up the wash until you see the hoodoos, and then you can easily find your way across the desert to walk amongst them. We had planned to come back here for night photography, but unfortunately a monsoon set in and we got cloudy nights instead of nice clear ones for shooting the Milky Way. They were still nice to visit and photograph during the day though.
