Ziplining isn’t really something that we consider super adventurous, so we don’t typically seek out this kind of activity. That doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy it, it just isn’t usually worth the time and money for us to do it. This zipline, run by Umauma Falls and Zipline Experience, is one of the exceptions. We like it partly because the setting is so lovely (wide open views of the ocean, and the Umauma river and gorge), partly because the zips are long and you can get up some good speed, and partly because the staff isn’t totally overbearing with “safety” requirements so you’re allowed to go upside down and fun stuff like that. Booking one of their tours is also the only way you’ll get to see the very lovely Umauma Falls (you don’t have to book the ziplining tour, by the way – they offer rappel, river swim, and kayak experiences that will also let you enjoy the falls – we haven’t tried any of these, though). All in all, a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours.
